NappleGet the app

Privacy Policy

Overview

Napple (“we”, “us”) is a baby sleep tracking app for iPhone and this marketing site at getnapple.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

This website (getnapple.com)

This marketing site describes Napple and hosts password-reset pages for family accounts. You can contact us by email; we use that address only to respond to your message.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may process standard request logs (such as IP address and user agent) needed to operate and secure the site.

Password reset on this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare receives a short-lived verification token for that check. We do not use it for advertising.

The Napple app

Napple works fully on your device. Core sleep tracking does not require an account. Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

  • Baby profile — name and birth date you enter, used for age-aware predictions and display.
  • Sleep history — sleep start/end times and related preferences you log, used for predictions, reports, and reminders.
  • Account credentials (optional) — email and password if you create or join a family account for cloud sync.
  • Device features — local notifications and Lock Screen Live Activities to show upcoming sleep windows. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
  • Purchases (optional) — App Store purchase and subscription status if you buy or restore Napple Pro, used to unlock paid features.

Family sync (optional)

If you enable family sync, your baby profile and sleep history are stored with our cloud provider (Supabase) so caregivers who share the same family account can see and update the same history in near real time.

Family sync uses a shared account model: partners sign in with the same email and password. Anyone with those credentials can view and change the shared sleep history. Only share credentials with caregivers you trust. If you forget the password, you can request a reset email from the app or this website. Resetting it updates the password on that account.

You control whether sync is used. Without signing in, data stays on your device.

How we use data

We use the information above to:

  • Provide sleep tracking, predictions, and reports
  • Operate optional family sync and account authentication
  • Process Napple Pro purchases and restore subscription access
  • Send local reminders you allow on your device
  • Maintain security, reliability, and customer support

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate the Services, including:

  • Supabase — auth and cloud storage when family sync is enabled
  • RevenueCat — subscription status and App Store purchase receipts when you buy or restore Napple Pro
  • Vercel — hosting for getnapple.com
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile bot check on website password reset
  • Apple — App Store distribution, device notifications, and Live Activities on your iPhone

These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us, under their own privacy terms.

Children

Napple is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Baby profile information (such as name and birth date) is entered by adults for caregiving purposes.

Retention & deletion

On-device sleep logs and profile details remain on your iPhone until you clear them or remove the app. If you use family sync, cloud data remains until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.

Deleting your account. When family sync is enabled, you can request deletion of your family account and associated cloud data from within the Napple app (Account), or by emailing hello@getnapple.com. Deletion removes the account credentials and synced baby profile and sleep history for that family account. Because partners share one account, deletion affects everyone signed in with those credentials. Local copies on other devices may remain until those devices sign out or clear local data. Backups needed for reliability may persist for a limited period before permanent removal.

Your choices

  • Use Napple offline without creating an account
  • Sign out of family sync at any time in Account
  • Reset your account password from Account in the app or at getnapple.com
  • Disable notifications in iOS Settings
  • Request account deletion via the app or email

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
